Alpha Coil
This is an innovative wireless pathway for charging portable electronic devices such as cell phones.
Charging technology that allows different brands of charging devices to be charged from a single power source is now a reality. Together with the Wireless Power Association, Lixin has developed the Qi standard, the first wireless charging technology.
Features
- Simply placing the device on the QI charging station eliminates the need for a wired power source.
- Devices on the charging surface are charged by magnetic induction.
- The QI interface ensures device compatibility and every device, regardless of brand or manufacturer, can be charged on the charging surface.
- Transmitter and receiver coils are inductively coupled. The coupling ensures that the AC current in the transmitter coil generates a magnetic field to excite the voltage in the receiver coil to power the device.
- The magnetic field between the coils is highly concentrated and the user is only exposed to small leakage sites. The EMI shielding on the back of the coil effectively minimizes leakage sites.
- The coil is wound with Leeds wire rather than double stranded wire, ensuring excellent performance with the lowest DCR and highest Q. When used in combination, the transmitter and receiver coils will be used in the same way as the receiver coil.
- When used in combination, the transmitter and receiver coils are up to 75% efficient.
